24th December 2006 – Christmas Eve came and we had dinner at my parents’. Food was good, again being prepared by my step-dad. I don’t know why but this year’s Christmas Eve wasn’t as merry as the past years. It came and went just like that.

We had a glorious gift exchange nonetheless; I had a splendid set of Donna Karan’s Be Delicious, a time piece by Casio, a pair of sandals by Nose, and a good turquoise leathered wallet from my aunt. And not forgetting the scents of Cassis Rose by Bodyshop, a few hair bijoux from my amiable sister, and a few more things here and there.

That was how plain I’ve spent my Christmas Eve, nothing fancy at any posh restaurants, just a priceless evening with my meek family.
